YRL Content Policy

Content Policy

We believe trust is foundational in what we build or work towards. To maintain this trust, we will be very careful in making sure that the campaigns on YRL follow our content polices as stated below.

The amount paid for rejected campaigns will be returned to the Cash Wallet of the user. Users can choose to create new campaigns from the Cash Wallet, or request Refund.

Repeated violations, or intentional violations of our content policies can lead to permanent ban on our Platform.

Safety, Security & Trust

Safety

Landing page must be safe to visit for users. It shouldn't be deceptive or have ill intentions to harm the visitors.

This includes, but not limited to: malware, unwarranted data collection, or spammy Ads aimed to phish for users' data.

Security

From data handling, to secure connections (https), your site must take security of users seriously.

Trust

There is implicit trust between YRL and businesses on YRL. Landing pages must not break this trust.

For example, Cloaking would be a serious violation of this trust. Any sites found showing some users different content than others could be banned from YRL.

YRL campaigns created to cheat Creators through their YRL campaigns would also be considered to break this trust.

Transparency & Quality

Landing pages must have quality content, and it should be easy for the user to know what the offerings are.

Transparency

Any sites that pretend to do one thing, but actually do another are not allowed.

For ex. if the website is about political campaigns, but writes an article on Clothing to promote on YRL will be banned.

Quality Landing pages

Sites with poor landing pages, not maintained, or those that show errors such as 404, 500 etc., to the users also risk getting removed from YRL platform.

Prohibited Content

Some categories of content are disallowed on YRL. In current stage of our product, it's not possible to accommodate these categories, and we will categorically reject such campaigns.

Following content categories are not allowed on YRL:

Any Adult, Porn or Racy / Vulgar content
Any Violent content, be it graphic or textual
Drugs / Cannabis / Paraphernalia, or Claims about Drugs of any type
Alcohol, tobacco or any similar product
Gambling or Sports Betting
Anything related to Human Trafficking
Soliciting Donations
Plagiarised or Copied Content
Unverified or Uncredited News
Medical Advice or Claims
Hateful Content or Speech
Multilevel marketing, or any Unvalidated Get Rich Schemes
Illegal purchase of Social Media Likes, or Comments
Sale of Counterfiet Music, Movies, Software or any other IP

Political or Religious Content

While we respect all religious and political beliefs of our users, we voluntarily want to keep YRL free of all political and religious promotions.

We currently don't have the resources to vet, and monitor such websites, and existing platforms offer enough capability to promote such content.

High Risk Businesses

Bankruptcy lawyers; remote technical support; psychic services; essay mills; chain letters; door-to-door sales; medical benefit packages; telemedicine and telehealth services; travel reservation services and clubs; airlines; cruises; timeshares; circumvention, jamming and interference devices; prepaid phone cards, phone services; telemarketing, offering substantial rebates or special incentives as an inducement to purchase products or services; telecommunications manipulation equipment; forwarding brokers; negative response marketing; subscriptions over one year; extended warranties; government grants; embassy, foreign consultate, or other foreign governments; charities without proper registration; credit card and identity theft protection; the use of credit to pay for lending services; any businesses that we believe poses elevated financial risk, legal liability, or violates card network or bank policies; any business or organization that a. engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property, or b. engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence toward any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic

Harassment & Cyberbullying

We do not allow promoting any content that depicts, encourages or directly does any sort of harassment or cyberbullying. There's absolutely no exception for this.
